Moderated by the founder of The 40 Acres and a Mule Project, Adrian Lipscombe, James Beard Award-winning Chef Mashama Bailey of The Grey restaurant in Savannah, Georgia and author of ☛BLACK, WHITE AND THE GREY along with chef Matthew Raiford of Gilliard Farms, explore their ancestral roots of farming and cooking in coastal Georgia and what it means to be a Black chef and farmer living near the water. Tickets are $15 and include the debut screening of MOFAD’s original virtual reality short film, African/American: Making the Nation’s Table. The Zoom link will be emailed along with confirmation.
