Moderated by the founder of The 40 Acres and a Mule Project, Adrian Lipscombe,  James Beard Award-winning Chef Mashama Bailey of The Grey restaurant in Savannah, Georgia and author ofBLACK, WHITE AND THE GREY along with chef Matthew Raiford of Gilliard Farms, explore their ancestral roots of farming and cooking in coastal Georgia and what it means to be a Black chef and farmer living near the water. Tickets are $15 and include the debut screening of MOFAD’s original virtual reality short film, African/American: Making the Nation’s Table. The Zoom link will be emailed along with confirmation.
