I know ☛BEHOLD THE DREAMERS by Imbolo Mbue is Oprah Winfrey’s current book club selection, however it was my book club’s last selection, so… first! Ha! I enjoyed the story, loved the writing and hated the ending. It is a moving novel that had me all in my feelings – from elation and frustration to joy and utter sadness.

Man crushing on author Marlon James. His novel ☛A BRIEF HISTORY OF SEVEN KILLINGS [pub: Riverhead Books, was the only monogamous, committed relationship I entered into in all of 2016. Seriously. In order to fully experience and appreciate this 688-page brilliance, I couldn’t and didn’t read anything else while I was involved with it.
