Please don’t let the long and um, not-so-clever title turn you off. 🙏🏾 ☛THE SUPREMES AT EARL’S ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT is not only an excellent book and a story I love, it’s also streaming on Hulu come August 23, 2024 and the poster just dropped this past Monday. I’m so freakin’ excited about this adaptation of Edward Kelsey Moore‘s debut novel about three high school best friends in the ’60s going through life’s challenges—infidelity and illness, children and choices—over a span of forty years. I couldn’t be more delighted with the casting of acting heavyweights Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Sanaa Lathan, Uzo Aduba, who play Odette, Barbara Jean, and Clarice respectively. Cee Marcellus and Tina Mabry penned the script. Tina also directed. Can’t wait to watch!
